As if Fiesta 2010 didn't have enough major festivals and showcases, along comes PACFest.

This mini-fest is a daylong event that takes place at Palo Alto College. It features the Texas Tornadoes a country-alt-pop outfit that has a new CD and is on a new tour. with new members, -  Doug Sahm's son Sean.

Also playing is Audiomouth, Cactus Country,

 River City Kings, Goodnight Ether, Von Army, Soul Congress, the New Tattoos and the Court Jesters.

The festival is scheduled 11 a.m.-9 p.m. April 22 at Palo Alto College, 1400 W. Villaret Blvd.

Admission is free.

Oscar Lawson, a pioneering artist who led a San Antonio group into national acclaim passed away Saturday in San Antonio. He died as a result of a stroke he suffered Wednesday at his home.

The San Antonio group was the world famous Royal Jesters and their superhits included some of the most memorable tunes from a vivacious soundtrack
