Just passed the official first day of fall and we're on way to the annual fall festival season.

Meanwhile lots of Hispanic Month activties around town to check out from concerts and shows to exhibits, lectures and moee.

Sing for Hope and Justice Contest comes to a grand finale with a special concert. Sixteen composers will present their songs protesting the law in Arizona. GA tix $10; VIP $20. Each artist has five minutes to present their song. Restoration Centre at 6401 Bandera Rd. Friday, Sept. 24.

Sonus Quartet Concert A Journey through Mexican Classical and Contemporary Music Based in Querétaro, México, Sonus was founded in 1998 by Luis Obregon, Claudia Ramirez, Guillermo Villalobos and Valery Sekretov.  Sonus members come from great music schools in London, Russia, the United States and Mexico. The program will include Mexican music by composers Maria Grever, Juventino Rosas, Manuel Ponce, Belisario García, Salvador Morlet, Macedonio Alcala and Ruben Fuentes. 7 p.m., Sept 25.
