Creed: regrouped, ready to rock

You can't keep a goodband down for long. Creed, the top band from a few years back, returns to the scene  with a new tour and a new CD. And San Antonio is part of that tour. Sept. 24. AT&T Center.

Fans may recall Creed's slow descent into hell with personal conflicts. Seeking fresh air, guitarist Mark

Tremonti, forming a new band, Alter Bridge.

But a few months ago, bandmembers let bygones be bygones. Now there is a reunion tour and new album - "Full Circle."

Mexican music fans of every stripe are in mourning at the passing of two of the country's music giants. Internationally recognized singer/songwriter Roberto Cantoral and norteno pioneer Miguel Luna passed on two days ago.

Cantoral was famous for the classic boleros “El Reloj,” “la Barca, and “El Triste,” while Luna was one half of the seminal norteno duo El Palomo y el Gorrion which scored with standard hits such as "Ingratos ojos míos," "En toda la chapa" and "Elisa."
