One always popular component of the awards is the three-day Fanfair. This year the TMA Fanfair is scheduled March 20-22 at Market Square. More than 100bands will be schedule to perform on various stages over three days. Various booths where fans can obtain autographs and photographs will also be available.

A performers lineup and ticket prices for the awards will be released soon.

During the awards ceremonies, TMA officials will also honor several pioneers with a Lifetime Achievement Awards. Inductees will be announced at a later date.

The 2009 TMA Kickoff Party was held Jan. 22 at Graham Central Station and featuring performances by  Bobby Pulido, Jay Perez, Desperadoz, Gary Hobbs, Stefani Montiel, Ramiro Herrera, Rebecca Valadez, Ricardo Castillon, Chente Barrera, and the Joe B & Baron Band.
