Ricardo Montalbán: struggling actor rose to international star

Ricardo Montalbán rose from humble origins to become a top name in Hollywood. Montalban died earlier this year but he will be remembered as a world class TV

  and film actor who was inspirational and often unforgettable.

This Sunday, San Antonio’s Instituto Cultural de

 México will honor actor-singer-dancer Ricardo Montalban with his own film festival.

The festival consists of two films, “Mystery Street” to screen at 3 p.m. and “Two Weeks of Love” at 5 p.m. and admission is free.
