2009 Latin Hip Hop Tour: Don Dinero, Sonny Blue

Don Dinero will among the headliners for the 2009 Latin Hip Hop Tour.

Other artists scheduled to perform include Omar Cruz, Sonny Blue, the Area and about 30 local independent artists. The tour will be in San Antonio at the Warehouse Music Venue, 1305 E. Houston St.

MC and part of the proceeds will go to CASA, for abused and neglected children.

The seven state tour is going to Las Vegas, Texas, California, New Mexico, Colorado, Chicago, and New York City and 12 cities. The Latin Hip Hop Tour is on its 7th year.

According to organizer Olga Ondush, this event will be giving local independent artists a platform to perform live, on stage with national artists. There will be informational booths and it will be an all day celebration of cultural diversity for the city of San Antonio.

Overall, the Latin Hip Hop Tour 2009 reaches over 200,000 fans and viewers online and reached the 1 million mark on the Latin Hip Hop Tour Website in June 2009. A tour like no other it is going into each of the communities by inviting local independent Latin hip hop artists to submit 1 single for the Mix tape of The Latin Hip Hop Tour 2009, for the chance to perform live, on stage with these national artists. In each city the tour will showcase new Latin Hip Hop artists from all over the nation and the community itself. Its goal is to give the new artist the opportunity to get the exposure that they need.

Don Dinero is the first American-born Spanish rapping artist to make the major label jump finding commercial acceptance. Other artists have followed in his footsteps Don Dinero is the President of The Gino Green Music Group. The Latin Hip Hop Tour is reaching 7 major markets worldwide. It is a tour that is expanding yearly and this year it has broken barriers by inviting independent artists.

The Latin Hip Hop Tour marks only the beginning of the partnership between Baracuda Entertainment Booking Agency SA, Gino Green Music Group and The Latin Hip Hop Tour which will in turn bring many platforms and properties to mainstream music. A portion of the proceeds will go to abused and neglected and disadvantaged children during this tour.
