Campanas De América: Christmas concert 

One of the best and the brightest mariachi troupes in Central Texas has always been Mariachi Campanas De America, based in San Antonio. They are one of the longest running mariachi troupes in Texas. 

Now Campanas De América presents

their annual scholarship Xmas Concert at 6:30 and 9 p.m.  Saturday, Dec. 5 at Casbeers at the Church, 1150 S. Alamo. $20; $30 per couple. (210) 224-0258.

Campanas also has a new Christmas single out titled "All I Want for Christmas is you." In a related holiday tune, singer Elizabeth also has a new Christmas tune titled "Christmas medley."

For years, Campanas have been recognized for being extremely talented and always putting on a dynamic stage performances with a deep repertoire.

Last September, Campanas hosted their concert with special guests Mariachi Del PuebloLiz Torres and Tito Puente Jr. Sponsors of the show included Leticia Van de Putte R. Ph. District 26, and Texas State Senator Ruth Jones McClendon District 120.

Mariachi Campanas De America is always a special treat when they get on stage so this is a show you do not want to miss.

Recently, Campanas De America has been promoting the single titled "Christmas Medley," from the CD "From Tejas Artists to You" (Tejas Records).
