The nominees announcement for the 11th Annual Latin Grammys has been scheduled Sept. 8 at the Avalon Hollywood venue, 1735 N. Vine in Hollywood.

The Latin Recording Academy® and key music industry and cultural community leaders will be on hand to announce the nominees as well as presenters for the annual gala.
 
The 11th Annual Latin Grammy Awards will

be broadcast live on the Univision Network (7 p.m. Central) from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on Nov. 11.

The Latin Grammys organization is a non-profit organization that consists of artists, musicians and other recording professionals and technicians.  Grammy members manage the organization.

In other Grammy news, the Latin Recording Academy® Board of Trustees promoted Gabriel Abaroa Jr. to President/CEO of The Latin Recording Academy. According to Latin Academy Chair of the Board Luis Cobos, Abaroa has been President of the nonprofit music membership organization since March 2003.
