'Mexico Mexico Mexico' offers classy music, top performers
"Mexico Mexico Mexico"
Proart Interlatin USA and the Instituto de Mexico team up to present a wide variety of classy "Cancion Mexicana" featuring Patti Malcolm, Mauricio Guizar, Alfredo Lomeli, Luis Loyo, Margarita Ramiro, Victor Perez, Brittney and Bridget Perez, Tamara Herrera.
Also in the lineup is Natalia Madrigal, Daniela Villasenor, Stella Maris Jurado, Alejandro Vargas, Orator Flavia Valle and MC Jacobo Paz.
The performers will interpret the classics by famous composers such as Armando Manzanero, Tomas Mendez, Jose Alfredo Jimenez, Consuelo Velasquez, and others.
Also, the "Cuadro folklorico" will feature the Mexicapan dancers, and Mariachi Internacional.
The musical arrangements are being done by Jorge Infante.
The concert is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 31. Tickets are $25.
The event is scheduled at the Instituto de Mexico Auditorium, 600 Hemisfair Park.
Also, proceeds will benefit the Proart Interlatin USA Educational & Community Outreach Annual Cultural Program.
