The big show is scheduled  July 20 in Laredo's Civic Center.

Entertainment will feature music by Los Garcia Bros., Edgar Vasquez y sus Muchachos, Mando y la Venganza, Los Medina Boyzz, Bernardo y sus Compadres, Fish y Los Favoritos. Also hip-hop /rap artists including Street Royalty, Kyle Lee, Lost City Entertainment, Big Ugly Mexican.

Edgar Vasquez y Sus Muchachos were previous winners at the South Texas Conjunto Association for conjunto of the year. Meanwhile, Los Garcia Bros. are previous winners at the Tejano Music Awards.

The car show is presented by City Style Lowrider Car Club and the Make A Wish Foundation. It also includes the participation of one of the biggest names in car clubs, the LowRider Magazine.

The City Style Lowrider Car Club is a non-profit organization which opened a chapter in Laredo in October 2007.

The group decided to work with Make A Wish Foundation, an organization that grants wishes to children with life threatening illnesses. The club's upcoming show is part of the new "Make Enrique's Wish Come True" project, presented by the club, the Make a Wish Foundation of Central and South Texas and the City of Laredo's Mayor, Raul G. Salinas.

According to a news release by club president Alex Medina, "Enrique Collazo is a 5-year-old boy who is suffering from Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. Enrique and his family joined our club shortly after we had made our decision to have our car show benefit the Make A Wish Foundation. Enrique's one heartfelt wish is to go to Disney World, and with your help, we can make his wish come true."

The "Making Enrique's Wish Come True" Benefit Car Show will be held at the Civic Center of Laredo from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2008. It will be an indoor/outdoor venue. LowRider Magazine is also bringing their signature semi "Aztec," and Laredo will then be featured in the LRM issue after the show.
