Mark your calendars for September 12 & 13 for the 1st Annual San Antonio Latino Music Festival! If you're interested in working behind the scenes at the Festival as a volunteer, please email back with your interest and availability September 11 - 13. A special Kick-Off Meet & Greet will happen on Thursday, September 11 from 8-10pm with special guests Strunz & Farah & Farah. The Kick-Off features live music, free admission & a cash bar. Venue details to follow next week!

Raza en la Plaza, a series with a strong focus on San Antonio music, happens every Friday and Saturday night in September from 7-10 pm.
The series continues every Friday & Saturday night through Saturday, October 11, 2008. September 5 & 6 is Raza en la Plaza's San Antonio Rock & Roll Weekend featuring South Texas rock, blues, and instrumental surf band Los #3 Dinners on Friday night and psychedelic-country-punk-pop band Snowbyrd on Saturday night. September 19 & 20 brings Spanish Armada Nights on the Plaza with Joe Jama playing Friday and Ernie Garibay & Cats Don't Sleep on Saturday. September's Raza en la Plaza culminates September 26 & 27 with Legends Weekend-- Eva Ybarra y Su Conjunto (Friday) and Spot Barnett (Saturday).

Blue Mondays - Back by popular demand, blues music curated by the American Federation of Musicians is extended through mid September--

Latin Lunes, a new Monday series with Latin grooves from 11:30am - 1:30pm
Monday, September 22: Hot Sauce--slick guitars and percussion
Monday, September 29: Border Palace--acoustic guitar with flamenco influences
High Noon Dies y Seis with Azul: September 16 from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm: Azul is a Mexicana cantante with jazz connections now in residence at the Esperanza Peace & Justice Center in San Antonio.
Tri-County Farmer's Market, every Friday throughout the year from 8am-1pm
Lunch Well, a health fair for mind, body, and spirit on Tuesday, September 9 from 11am-1:30pm
Conjunto Tocaditas - intimate conjunto music sets with Foxy Garcia and Chucho Perales- every Sunday at 11 am & 1 pm. Bring along your accordion or bajo and jam!
High Noon, a lunch-time music series for the downtown scene, every Monday through Friday from 11:30am-1:30pm. Tuesdays and Fridays is Puro San Anto Music with Jazz, Blues, and Americana. Wednesdays at the Plaza feature Mariachi. Every Thursday in September showcases THE SAX.
Main Feature, a new family-focused, inter-active series, Saturdays in September at 1 pm.
