Conjunto fans get part of the spotlight in weekend concerts but there's also classic Tejano in Labor Day Fests.
One of those events is today Thursday and that's why we're posting this weekender edition early. First there's the Conjunto is Life concert program, "Fe, Familia y Tradicion" featuring special guest Conjunto Aguilares' Genaro Aguilar at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28 at the MACC Community Center, Germania & West French. Admission is free.
There's also the Los Padrinos concert Friday at Frio Saloon (smoke free).
Meanwhile,Grupo Mazz takes the stage Friday at Graham Central Station.
And at Market Square, several bands, including Texas Legends, La Formula, Five Star Band, La Calma, Artie V y Grupo Suave, La Dystancia, Briana/BMF, Stampede, La Traizion, Albert Zamora y Talento, Eddie "G" Gonzales play at the
