Music and dance fueled the fun at the "Dance for a Cure," benefit event presented by the Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority, at Arjon's International Club Wednesday night..

"This was one of our major fundraisers and all proceeds will go to philanthropy as well as future projects," said sorority representative Jessica Nunez. "We had several sorority members coming from various area universities."

The music mix on Wednesday was very diverse, ranging from trance-pop and new wave to Colombian cumbias and tropical salsa.

Nunez said her sorority plans to present other fundraisers in the coming months.
