Getting back to Joe Jama, we visited him briefly and found him in good spirits. At the moment, he is blind in one eye and has partial vision in the other. He needs two more operations to relieve the pressure behind his eyes, brought on by diabetes.
For three decades, singer Joe Jama has been one of San Antonio's prize jewels.
Still to play Sunday were Jorge Alejandro, Joe Posada, Roger Velasquez, David Marez, Ruben Ramos-Sunny-Ramiro Herrera. Also performing will be 5 Star Band, Terri & The Flashback, Rocky OBG Band, etc.
