Calle 13 - René Pérez and Eduardo Cabra - will be MTV's official spokesmen in an attempt to get out the vote among young muwic fans.

Their message is clear: just get out & vote.

Although the duo have stated that they will not be endorsing any particular candidate, it has been reported that the duo have admitted that they would be more inclined to support Barack Obama. Other artists to helpget the word out on voting includes rapper Pit Bull.(Photos courtesy EMI Televisa)

And in Tex-Mex circles, David Chavez had organized Javeir Galvan, Chente Barrera and Sunny Sauceda to record a get-out-the-vote tune to encourage music fans get out and vote. More on this later.
