Liberacion reunites Virgil Canales and Juan Tavares
The 2008 Class of Tejano ROOTS Hall of Fame inductees include singer Emilio, famed 
DJ Rosita Ornelas and conjunto duo Los Dos Gilbertos.
According to ROOTS Vice-President Heriberto "Herbie" Lopez, who used to play with El Conjunto Bernal, the ROOTS ceremonies are scheduled Nov. 14 and 15 in Alice's VFW Hall.
The Friday event starts at 7 p.m. and features performances by Latin Express featuring Sunny Ozuna and Johnny Hernandez. Saturday night will open with an official welcome by Alice Mayor Juan Rodriguez. The invocation will be delivered by Rudy Guerra and members of his ministry.

Afterwards, the dance will feature Jimmy Edward and the Latin Express and Los Dos Gilbertos.
Inductes also include Raul, Emilio's brother,, and Bobby Solis for drummer in the MiIlion Dollar band. Solis is brother of well-known San Antonio drummer Richard Solis.
