Utilizing music in marketing and advertising efforts has always been a powerful combination. It is engaging, enchanting, and it creates an exponential impact for a campaign that is usually greater than the sum of its parts. But, in U.S. Hispanic efforts some approaches have bordered on being formulaic or even cliché. Attend our panel discussion and learn from the experts as to what criteria to consider when incorporating music, and get the inside scoop on what you should know about working with artists. Here you'll see some examples of the more successful efforts, and you'll have the benefit of tapping into the experience of some local/regional professionals. Ramiro Burr, a nationally recognized music authority, will moderate the panel.
Ramiro Burr is an experienced music reporter, columnist, book author and award-winning blogger. Through his prolific career he's written for numerous magazines and newspapers including Billboard Pulse, Rhythm Music, Cashbox, Latina, Performance and New Country Music magazines, as well as the Houston Chronicle and Austin Chronicle newspapers. His reviews have also appeared at Billboard.com, Amazon.com and Barnesandnoble.com.
The panel will be comprised of Jorge Flores, award-winning producer/record label owner, Jesús Ramírez, author, owner of My Story, and formerly Creative Director & Partner of The Cartel Group, Pedro Roura, producer and David Garcia, Entertainment Attorney.
