Rocky Hernandez & OBG Band are headlining the Oldies But Goodies Bash on Saturday, July 12 at Blessed Sacrament Church.

The annual fundraiser will features Rocky Hernandez & OBG Band with special guest Rudy T.

The dance/special evening will take place at the Blessed Sacrament Hall, located at Oblate at Shannon Lee. Tickets are $75 per couple and admission includes a full meal, refreshments and door/raffle prizes. For tickets/reservations call Ricardo Gonzalez at (210) 833-1213

 

Rocky Hernandez & OBG Band are one of the storied bands in oldies and Top 40 music groups. They are a part of San Antonio's rich musical heritage. Dozens of top groups have come out of San Antonio to make a name for themselves in various genres, including rock, country, Tejano and conjunto.

The OBG band is Rocky Hernandez, drums, Nando Aguilar, bass; Sammy Luna, sax and Bobby Villa, lead guitar. bsclogo2 250.JPG

Ricardo Gonzalez said this once-a-year Oldies But Goodies Bash dance is always popular. He added there are only a limited number of tickets sold. Fans who want to group together as four couples can reserve a table.

 Blessed Sacrament also sponsors various other dances and festivals to benefit ACT and other church groups.
