There will also be free food when the festivities start at 5 p.m. Aug. 28. Admission is free.

Owners Jesse Medina and Raul Ledezma say they are proud of the beautiful and romantic story of the historic Cadillac Bar, one of the most famous bars in the American Southwest.

The world famous Cadillac Bar has a storied history. The origins of the bar can be traced back to New Orleans in the early 1920s. According to the bar's website, "Prohibition caused the original owner to pack up everything and move to Nuevo Laredo, Mexico in 1926. It was a good move.

Today, millions of people from all over the world have been to the Cadillac Bar Restaurant."

"Cadillac Bar has been an important part of San Antonio for many years," said Steven A. Vourvoulias, South Texas Hispanic Market Brand Manager for Brown Forman. "Jack Daniels is proud to be a part of their tradition. We are looking forward to listening to some great music and enjoying a Jack and Coke."
