Down in Robstown, check out the El Veterano Conjunto 10th Annual Festival The lineup includes Flaco Jimenez, Los Texmaniacs de Max Baca, Sunny Sauceda, Cha Cha Jiménez, Chano Cadena y Su Conjunto, Jimmy Lee y Tentación, Los Tremendos Alacranes de David Flores, Los Arroyos Del Rio, La Kreazion (with special performance by Linda Escobar), Robert Casillas & Ramon "Jack Rabbit" Sanchez, Lazaro Perez y Su Conjunto, and Letty y Conjunto Central.
The festival. is pesented by singer/promoter Linda Escobar at the High Chaparral in Robstown,Texas. Noon-11 p.m. Nov. 9. $10. Down in Uvalde at the LoneStar Salonm, cumbia fans can check out Super Odisea.

Next Thursday night check out Rocky Hernandez & OBG Band, a veteran outfit that will celebrate Rocky's birthday with a big party at Arturos Sports Bar, 3310 S. Zarzamora.
